US President Joe Biden will be visiting India on September 8 for the G20 Leaders’ Summit. He will be heading directly for a bilateral meeting with PM Modi.
Besides the visit and the updates from the G20 Summit, the ‘car’ of the US President is grabbing the attention of the internet. Joe Biden will be traveling in ‘The Beast’ during his India visit.
The Beast is a US Presidential Cadillac that will be flown to India from the US in a Boeing C-17 Globemaster III, a large military transport aircraft. This official state car of the US President is known as the world’s strongest and safest bulletproof car and it will be under the guard of the United States Secret Service all the time.
Above that, a three-layer security has been arranged for Joe Biden’s visit to Delhi. The outermost layer would have paramilitary force personnel, the second layer with commandos from India’s Special Protection Group and the innermost circle would have the elite Secret Service agents.
Also, the Helicopters of the Air Force and the Indian Army will be circling in the air in Delhi. The Army and NSG commandos will be watching from these helicopters.
Joe Biden will participate in the official sessions of the G20 Summit on September 9-10. Biden and other US delegates will stay at the ITC Maurya Sheraton Hotel. The background checks were conducted for the staff and special access cards will be given to those who will visit the 14th floor where Joe Biden will stay.
