The Indian embassy in France is investigating an incident where a Nicaragua-bound flight carrying 303 Indian passengers was grounded by French authorities.
The flight, operated by Romanian charter company Legend Airlines, had departed from Dubai and landed at Vatry airport for a technical stopover. French officials, suspecting human trafficking, intervened, leading to the grounding of the flight.
Two individuals were arrested for questioning, and a judicial investigation has been initiated. The Indian embassy assured consular access and is focused on both investigating the situation and ensuring the well-being of the passengers involved.
