Finally, Chiru Buried The hatchet With Sr Writer

Megastar Chiranjeevi attended a literary event held by Loknayak Foundation in Vishakapatnam today. Besides praising the two stalwarts of Telugu cinema NTR and ANR to the sky, Chiru made interesting comments about his biography during his speech at the event.

The matinee idol publicly announced that renowned novelist, screenwriter and director Yandamuri Veerendranath has approached him with the idea of writing his biography very soon. Chiru further stated that he was humbled when Yandamuri came up with such a proposal. Chiru revealed how Yandamuri’s writings gave a big fillip to his career. He cited Challenge and Abhilasha as two career-defining films that were inspired by his novels.

Chiru’s decision to allow Yandamuri to go ahead with his biography came as a big surprise to his fans. This is because Yandamuri made critical comments in the past about Chiranjeevi’s ineffective political stunt. Also, there were reports that they had a fallout during ‘Mrugaraju’ shoot on some financial issues. In 2022 December, Yandamuri made scathing remarks about the lyrics of Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya and his reaction resulted in a huge backlash from Mega fans.

Putting all this aside, Chiru seems to have buried the hatchet with Yandamuri Veerendranath and obliged his request to pen the biography. Chiru’s kind gesture is winning plaudits from all quarters.
