An explosion at Bengaluru’s popular Rameshwaram Cafe in the Brookefield area has left four people injured, including three staff members and one customer.
The cause of the blast, which occurred around 1 pm, remains unknown, with forensic teams on-site to determine the exact reason behind it. Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara stated that the explosion did not involve a cylinder and assured that the injured individuals were not critical.
Investigations are ongoing, with police examining CCTV footage and a bomb disposal squad deployed at the scene. BJP’s Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya indicated that the blast might be due to a bag left by a customer, urging for clarity from Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
