MS Dhoni To Produce A Sci-Fi Web Series

Mahendra Singh Dhoni announced his retirement from all formats of the cricket officially. But, he continues playing the Indian Premier League. According to the sources, Dhoni has planned his life after retirement in an interesting way. Dhoni retires from the world of cricket but enters the showbiz. Dhoni and his wife Sakshi are planning to produce movies and OTT projects for the country’s leading streaming platforms. As many as six projects are already in the pipeline.

One of the projects that Dhoni plans to launch first is a web series. It is an adaption of a yet to be published novel, The Hidden Hindu, drafted by Akshat Gupta. Sakshi Dhoni confirmed the same in her recent media interaction. Sakshi told the media house that the series would narrate a whimsical sci-fi tale that travels through a mystical Aghori journey.

Unlike the other projects in the genre, the story is set at a high-tech amenity on a distant island. The series features Aghori’s fictional role, who’s born in Satyug and was deceived in time, only to be seen alive. The series will be made on a high budget with rich technical values.

IPL comes to an end in November, after which Dhoni will take a break. He will focus on the content creation from next year. A formal announcement on this project will come out in the new year.
