In the backdrop of old factions, a brutal murder occurred in Pragati Nagar under Bachupalli Police Station in Hyderabad.
Tejas (21), also known as Sidhu, from Dasaram Basti in SR Nagar, was previously implicated as the A3 accused in a local murder case last year. Released from jail two months ago, he resided with his mother in a rented house in Pragathinagar.
Alone on Sunday night, Tejas consumed alcohol with friends Mahesh, Shivappa, and Sameer. Around 3:30 am on Monday, approximately 20 friends of Tarun, previously murdered, arrived on two-wheelers and fatally stabbed Tejas near Bathukamma Ghat.
The assailants recorded a selfie video, claiming retribution for Tarun’s murder, and shared it on Instagram. Kukatpally ACP K. Srinivasa Rao and Bachupally CI J. Upenderyadav inspected the crime scene. Three detained suspects are undergoing interrogation.
