Telangana Man Uday enters the UK MP race

A man from Telangana has entered the UK MP race following the announcement by the Labour Party on May 14th, naming Uday Nagaraju as its parliamentary candidate for North Bedfordshire. Uday Nagaraju hails from Shanigaram village in the Koheda mandal of the joint Karimnagar district in Telangana.

Born into an ordinary middle-class family, Uday Nagaraju is the son of Hanumantha Rao and Nirmala. He pursued his postgraduate studies in political science at the prestigious University College London. Recognising the impact of artificial intelligence on society and future generations, he established a AI think tank. Uday is renowned as an international speaker and writer, with a keen understanding of field-level issues. BRS working president KTR congratulated Uday Nagaraju on his candidature for parliament.

The Labour Party highlighted Uday’s successful career in technology consulting, policy leadership, grassroots community engagement, and dedication to inclusive global development.

Upon the announcement, Uday Nagaraju expressed, “I am honoured to have been chosen as the Labour Parliamentary candidate for North Bedfordshire. I have dedicated my life to public service and pledged to be fully committed as an MP, prioritising the needs of constituents and fostering a renewed sense of hope for positive change.”

North Bedfordshire is a newly formed parliamentary constituency, as recommended by the Boundary Commission, according to Electoral Calculus, a renowned survey firm. They predicted that the Labour Party has a 68 percent chance of winning the constituency.

The Labor Party has been winning consistently in recent elections, including councilor and mayoral races this month. Uday Nagaraju’s prospects for a substantial win as an MP in the British Parliament look promising.
