Iranian President Killed In Helicopter Crash

Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi and foreign minister were killed on Sunday in a Helicopter crash.

They were traveling from Iran’s border with Azerbaijan after inaugurating a dam project when their helicopter went down in a mountainous area near the Jolfa city.

The helicopter crash happened due to ‘technical failure’.

Rescue teams searched through the dense forest through rain and fog for hours and found the crash site. There were no survivors in the crash.

The funeral services will be held in three cities. The public procession will be in Tabriz. The bodies will be taken to Tehran, the capital, for a state funeral on Wednesday.
