Actress Sexual Assault Case: Prosecution Alleges Bias By Judge

An actress was sexually assaulted in a car three years back. Malayalam actor Dileep was charged as the mastermind behind it. In a recent update, the prosecution has moved court alleging the judge biased and they don’t want a trial in this judge’s court.

Earlier, the actors Bhama and Sidhique turned hostile witnesses in the actress assault case. The actors Bhama and Sidhique reportedly failed to stick to their original statements in the court. They instead made contradictory statements to the initial ones. Veteran actress Revathi expressed her anger at the witnesses Bhama and Sidhique for turning hostile.

Two other witnesses actors Edavela Babu and Bindhu Panicker too turned hostile witnesses. Also, two weeks back, a key approver in the case, Vibin Lal complained he was threatened.

Vibin Lal alleged he received three anonymous letters posted from different parts of Ernakulam district, threatening to kill him if he does not make a statement in favor of Dileep in the trail.
