Kolkata Needs A Strong Performance To Beat Mumbai

Kolkata Knight Riders are among the top four teams of the points table but they are yet to form a formidable lineup. They didn’t give a standout performance yet. Today, they will be facing Mumbai Indians, which is one of the toughest teams in the league. They lost their previous game against MI. They need to put a lot of effort this time to beat the men in blue.

On the bowling front, Kolkata looks good. They won a couple of matches due to a lethal bowling attack. However, Narine might miss this match as well due to his suspect bowling action. Thus, the rest of the bowlers should rise up to the occasion. More than bowlers, it is the lack of proper effort from the batsmen, which is affecting KKR. None of the batsmen are playing to their full potential. Their performances are very inconsistent. If they continue that bits and pieces form in this match as well, it will be a difficult task to win the game.
