Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax which was once India’s top selling smartphone brand, had gone down in competition against the China’s wave. The advent of Chinese brands like Redmi, VIVO, Oppo and others have pushed Micromax behind and eventually the Indian phone maker faced losses and shut its store.
Now Micromax is all set to make a comeback and its founder Rahul Sharma has come up with a video announcing its return. In this video, Rahul shares the journey of Micromax which was founded with three people and in no time, it earned the trust of Indian people and grew into world’s top ten largest selling smartphone brands.
“This was our first business. We’re doing the business and simultaneously learning. In this process we made mistakes but we did not give up. But whatever happened in the border, was not good and then you all gave voice for Micromax to come back. Our PM had also called for ‘Aatma Nirbhar Bharat’ and then we had our thoughts. This time whatever we are going to do, it will be for India,” said Rahul Sharma
Concluding his speech, Rahul unveils the Micromax new logo and branding that it would come up with phones in future, ‘in’ it is.
Well this video of the Micromax founder Rahul is emotional and they have planned a perfect timing to come back into the smartphone business. Hope they succeed this time and push the Chinese brands behind and retain their leadership like in 2014.
