In a shocking incident, a woman in Andhra Pradesh’s Yendagandi village of West Godavari district received a dead body of an unidentified man in a parcel on Thursday night. She immediately reported the matter to the local police who rushed to spot to conduct a detailed enquiry. The body was transferred to the government hospital for postmortem.
Going into the details, the woman named Naga Tulsi had approached the Kshatriya Sewa Samiti for financial assistance to help her construct a house. After receiving building material for constructing house, she once again requested the Samiti for additional support to complete the house.
The Samiti has reportedly promised her to supply electrical equipment like fans, lights and switches for her new house. She recently received a message in WhatsApp that the equipment would be delivered to her home.
On Thursday night, a box was delivered to her home by a person who inform her that it contains electrical equipment. She later opened the box office and was shocked to see the dead body of an unidentified person inside it. It is further reported that there was a letter in the box, demanding for Rs 1.3 Crores with a warning of serious consequences.
A case was immediately registered and further investigation is currently on. The representatives of the Kshatriya Sewa Samiti were summoned by the police. The district SP Adnan Nayeem Asmi also visited the woman’s house earlier today. The news has spread panic in the village.
