AP CM Chandrababu, Balakrishna Nandamuri Grandson, Minister Nara Lokesh’s son Nara Devansh clinched slot in the World Book of Records for solving the maximum number of Checkmate puzzles in minimum time.
Nine-year-old Devansh has been awarded the Fastest Checkmate Solver – 175 Puzzles in a record time of 11 minutes and 59 seconds on December 18, 2024.
Devansh solved the chess puzzles from the book “5334 Problems and Games” by Laszlo Polgair.
He received the official certificate from the prestigious World Book of Records, London.
This comes close on the heels of D. Gukesh, having roots in Andhra Pradesh, achieving the World Chess Championship title. Gukesh is the Youngest Chess Grandmaster and reigning World Chess Champion.
