Watch: Plane carrying 181 passengers Crashed

A Jeju Air flight carrying 181 passengers suffered a tragic accident on Sunday at an airport in southern South Korea. The plane, returning from Bangkok, experienced a landing gear malfunction, causing it to veer off the runway, crash into a fence, and catch fire. Authorities have confirmed that only two people survived the incident, with the rest presumed dead.

Local fire departments reported that two crew members, a man and a woman, were rescued from the tail section of the plane. The fire at the crash site has since been extinguished. Investigations are ongoing, with bird strikes and adverse weather conditions being considered as potential causes.

This incident is the deadliest aviation disaster involving a South Korean airline in nearly 30 years, according to official data. Emergency responders focused their efforts on rescuing individuals trapped in the tail section, while reports indicated that some passengers fell from the aircraft during the crash. Local authorities are working to gather more information about the causes and scale of the tragedy.
