In a rather strange and weird incident, a passenger opened an emergency exit door of a taxiing airplane because of an argument with his girlfriend. This incident happened on a JetBlue flight at the Logan Airport located in Boston, USA.
Getting into details, the accused individual Torres was allegedly arguing with his girlfriend on JetBlue flight 161 which was heading to San Juan, Puerto Rico. During the argument, he suddenly opened the emergency exit door while the plane was taxiing and tried jumping off it. Immediately, the co-passengers entered the scenes and controlled him.
Upon receiving the information, Massachusetts State Police came to the airport and detained Torres. Reportedly, his parents filed the bail. He was granted bail but was ordered to live with them and not travel anywhere except Massachusetts.
Meanwhile, as soon as the incident happened, the airline crew transferred the passengers to another flight which later departed to San Juan. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the case.
