Can It be a ‘Game Changing’ Day 1?

Global Star Ram Charan’s Game Changer is scheduled for a grand worldwide release tomorrow. With massive expectations surrounding the film, the big question remains whether it can surpass the record-breaking day-one collections of previous blockbusters like RRR, Pushpa 2, and Devara.

Pushpa 2 currently holds the record for the highest day-one collections in Nizam. Meanwhile, RRR leads the Ceded region. In Andhra, RRR once again tops the charts. When considering combined day-one collections across the Telugu states, RRR remains unbeatable, with Pushpa 2 and Devara in the second and third spots, respectively.

Trade experts believe that Game Changer faces challenges in the Nizam region due to a relatively modest ticket rate hike in Telangana. However, the film is expected to perform strongly in Andhra and Ceded. Its first-day performance will determine whether Game Changer manages to carve a spot among these record-breaking giants.

So far, the advance bookings are progressing at a snail’s pace and we have to see if the situation can turn the tables for Game Changer. Shankar is the film’s director and Dil Raju is the film’s producer.
