US: Mass Raids At Gurudwaras In NJ And NY For Undocumented Immigrants

The Donald Trump administration as said earlier started raids and the process of mass deportation of illegal immigrants. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been working on arrests of illegal immigrants and gang members who are suspected of having ties with ISIS.

“Under President Trump’s leadership, ICE agents are working tirelessly to protect our communities. From illegal alien child rapists to gang members and individuals with suspected ties to ISIS, here are some of the worst criminals arrested,” the White House X thread reads.

The post shows nine different illegal immigrants who have been convicted of crimes, such as child rape, and have alleged links to terrorist organizations. The post also shows pictures of the arrested and the crimes they are convicted of.

The US Department of Homeland Security officials have visited Gurudwaras in New York and New Jersey targeting undocumented immigrants. The reports had it that some gurudwaras may be used as gathering places by Sikh separatists and undocumented immigrants.

However, the Sikh American Legal Defence and Education Fund issued a statement expressing concern over the policy.
