Twentytwo-year-old Akash Bobba, an engineer hailing from Gannavaram in Andhra Pradesh, is being admired for his meteoric rise. He was hired by none other than the world’s richest billionaire Elon Musk in Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) established by him, along with five other young engineers, all aged between 19-24 years.
The DOGE team is involved in overhauling the government operations.
Before being inducted into DOGE, the Indian-origin engineer, Akash, worked in several influential companies in the Silicon Valley.
His LinkedIn profile reveals that he has an impressive track record. He is a graduate of management, entrepreneurship and technology programme at UC Berkeley.
He completed his internship in tech giants like Meta and Palantir.
His academic achievements and industry experience provide the ground for his transition into the job involving heavy pressure.
Akash has exemplary coding abilities and his ability in rewriting an entire project from scratch overnight after a teammate accidentally deleted it, just days before a major deadline, proves the fact.
