The popular messaging app WhatsApp crashed a few minutes ago.
Thousands of users reported the crash and the app is currently down in many locations across the world.
Downdetector’s website shows a chart of reports indicating WhatsApp is down for more than 22000 users in the last 30 minutes.
Meta, which owns WhatsApp is yet to comment on the issue. On Downdetetctor, 54 percent of users mentioned trouble with sending messages while 37 percent reported the server connection issue. 10 percent of people opine the issue is with the app.
