The TGSRTC has announced running special bus services to Uppal Stadium to facilitate cricket lovers view the IPL matches live. This decision was taken to cheer the cricket enthusiasts, during the upcoming IPL season.
For all the IPL matches to be played in Hyderabad, the TGSRTC would operate these special bus services, from various destinations to the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium at Uppal, said the Greater Hyderabad RTC officials.
Over 60 special buses would be operated from 24 depots in the Greater Hyderabad limits.
The special buses will be available on days when the IPL matches would be played — March 27, April 6, April 12, April 23, May 5, May 10, May 20 and 21.
These buses would ply on Ghatkesar, Hayat Nagar, NGOs Colony, LB Nagar, Koti, Lakdikapul, Dilsukhnagar, Medchal, KPHB, Miyapur, JBS, ECIL, Bowenpally, Charminar, Chandrayanagutta, Mehdipatnam, BHEL and other routes.
The TGSRTC will deploy controllers and enforcement squads to make it a hassle-free commute for the cricket fans. Buses will be arranged for the return journey of the cricket lovers too.
