While the IPL season has a bright side, where it loads the small screens with entertainment and cricketing joy every night, there’s also a dark side to it. The bad thing about IPL is that it usually triggers a series of betting incidents all across the country.
In this context, the latest developments are suggesting that an engineering student in Telangana has committed suicide after losing money in IPL betting.
This youngster is named Pavan Kumar and he is based out of Badvel in Telangana. This third year engineering student is reportedly indulged in sports gambling activities and he ended up closing around ₹80,000 in Cricket gambling.
Unable to bear the financial consequences, the youngster reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself to the fan in his house. This adds to the long list of victims of sports gambling, which has been claiming many lives these days.
Gulte.com urges its patrons and general public to stay away from such gambling activities at all costs. This is a money and mental peace draining system that has literally no upside whatsoever.
