Andhra Pradesh is gradually gaining visibility. The state is showing up on the national indices.
Three prominent cities in the state have secured ranking in the Swachh Bharat Sarvekshan, in the latest among the series of its achievements.
Thanks to the leadership of the TDP coalition government. Slowly and steadily matters of concern are taking shape. The relentless efforts of the committed leaders are reflecting in public view.
In the latest survey conducted for the clean cities, as part of the Swachh Bharat campaign, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Tirupati have secured fourth, fifth and seventh ranks– all below 10. These rankings have been given among 100 urban local bodies in the country, having more than 1 lakh population.
Cleanliness is a major aspect in these days of indiscriminate littering. A rank in the ‘clean cities list’ shows the efforts of both the leaders and the sanitation staff, who have strived to achieve keep the premises neat and tidy.
Apparently, the citizens also play an important role in achieving the endeavor by being disciplined.
The ranks are a proof of all these factors.
While Indore (Mdhya Pradesh) secured the top position, Surat (Gujarat) and Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra) secured the next two positions respectively.
