IPL Fixing Scare? Who’s This Hyderabad Based Businessman?

The governing body of the IPL follows a very strict legality measure when it comes to anti corruption and fixing allegations. There is a constant watch on the activities of players and also support staff in this context. 

Now the discussion is about the BCCI’s warning to all the teams in IPL about this one Hyderabad based businessman, who could potentially lead to fixing and punting activities. 

Cricbuzz reported that The BCCI has issued a warning to all IPL teams about a Hyderabad-based businessman suspected of links to betting syndicates and corrupt activities. 

The Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU) believes he is attempting to befriend players, coaches, and support staff by posing as a fan and offering lavish gifts like expensive jewellery. This is seen as a potential attempt to lure individuals into corrupt practices. 

Teams have been advised to stay alert and report any contact with the individual to their respective integrity officers. The BCCI’s move aims to safeguard the league’s integrity amidst rising concerns around external influences.

Now there are several discussions and theories about this Hyderabad businessman who could be involved with such antisocial activities. While the Hyderabad cricket Association already faces allegations of being the most corrupt cricket board in India, such allegations against a Hyderabadi businessman are leading to more discussions.
