Honeymoon Turns Tragic: Terrorists Kill Man After Asking His Name

A peaceful honeymoon trip turned into a horrifying tragedy in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, when terrorists opened fire on a group of tourists at Baisaran Valley.

The victim, a young man on his honeymoon, was reportedly shot in the head after the attackers asked his name—targeting him based on his religious identity. His wife, devastated and in shock, was seen in a heartbreaking viral video crying next to his lifeless body and pleading for help from the locals.

This brutal incident is being described as one of the deadliest civilian attacks in the region since the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. A total of 28 people lost their lives in the ambush, which happened while tourists were relaxing and enjoying snacks like bhelpuri amidst the natural beauty of the valley.

Eyewitnesses shared chilling accounts of gunshots, chaos, and panic, with several tourists injured and others fleeing for safety. The attack has not only claimed lives but also raised serious concerns over tourist safety in conflict-sensitive zones like Kashmir.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah condemned the attack, calling it one of the worst in recent history targeting innocent civilians.

The government and security agencies are under pressure to intensify operations against terrorist networks and ensure that tourist destinations like Pahalgam remain safe for visitors.
