Karnataka Govt Responds to Chinnaswamy Stampede

At the RCB victory parade, but is being held at the famous Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, a brutal stampede broke out and it claimed the lives of 10 people while multiple others are injured. 

This extremely unfortunate incident happened during the victory parade featuring the RCB players and also the chief minister and deputy CM of Karnataka – Siddaramaiah and DK Shiva Kumar. 

When asked to comment on this matter, the Political advisor to chief minister Siddaramaiah Nasser Ahmed stated “Crowd uncontrollable, we did not have time to make arrangements.”

On the other hand, national media reported that, deputy chief minister, DK Shivakumar stated that the government had taken adequate measures and appointed 5000 security personnel, including police officers to safeguard the parade. He pointed out that the police officials cannot perform lathicharge on everyone as it’s beyond control.

When asked by the media about the deaths that occurred during the stampede, he replied, ‘I can’t confirm anything.

This situation originally came up as thousands of fans piled up at the RCB stadium to celebrate their team’s victory. However, this joyous occasion has become the principal reason for the death of multiple individuals and this is a cause of concern now.
