Ahmedabad Plane Crash: What’s The Reason?

The Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crash took place today near Ahmedabad airport, when the plane bound for London took off. Minutes after take-off, the plane is seen crashing into a building, 8 km away from the airport. Meanwhile, the aviation experts say that the catastrophic failure to gain lift might have caused the crash.

The catastrophic failure to gain lift and climb happened at a very low altitude of 825 feet. As per the visuals from the crash, the experts are decoding that the pilots struggled to stay in the climb just before they raised a Mayday call. Eventually, the plane also went down and crashed into a residential area.

Aviation expert Sanjay Lazar also opined that the crash could also be a result of multiple bird hits, resulting in the wrong take-off configuration. The plane’s engine seems to have lost thrust, experts have said. Its landing gears were also still down.

However, the pilot sent out a mayday call immediately after realizing that they were losing control over the aircraft. Reportedly, there was no response after that to repeated calls from the air traffic controller.
