‘Kaanta Laga’ Fame Shefali Passes Away at 42

Popular model and actress Shefali Jariwala, best known for the hit 2002 pop song Kaanta Laga, has passed away unexpectedly at the age of 42. The news has left her fans and the entertainment industry in deep shock.

According to reports, Shefali complained of chest pain late last night and informed her husband, actor Parag Tyagi. She was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Andheri, Mumbai, but was declared dead before arrival. Doctors confirmed the cause of death as a heart attack.

Shefali was known for maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle, regularly working out and staying active. Her sudden death at such a young age has raised concerns and confusion among fans. Many are struggling to believe that someone seemingly so healthy could suffer a fatal heart attack.

Shefali shot to fame in the early 2000s with Kaanta Laga, a remix of an old Bollywood track, which became a massive youth anthem at the time. She later appeared in a few other music videos, films, and gained further popularity by participating in Bigg Boss Season 13. She also featured in a few television shows in the years that followed.

In her personal life, Shefali was first married to music composer Harmeet Singh in 2004, but the couple separated five years later. In 2015, she married actor Parag Tyagi, and the couple were known for their close and happy relationship.

Following her death, some voices online have once again linked such unexpected heart attacks to COVID-19 vaccinations, though no official connection has been established.

Shefali’s passing is a heartbreaking reminder of how fragile life can be, even for the seemingly healthy and young.
