FASTag Annual Pass Now Available – Book Here

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has introduced a new FASTag Annual Pass, aimed at enhancing convenience for private vehicle owners on national highways. Although the official rollout is scheduled for August 15, the pass has already been listed on the NHAI website with complete details regarding eligibility, usage limits, and pricing.

This new initiative is designed exclusively for non-commercial vehicles such as cars, jeeps, and vans. Eligible users can make a one-time payment of ₹3,000 to receive up to 200 toll-free highway trips or enjoy one year of toll-free access—whichever limit is reached first. Once the pass expires or the trip limit is used, the system will automatically switch to the standard pay-per-use FASTag model.

To qualify for the FASTag Annual Pass, vehicle owners must ensure that their FASTag is active and linked to a complete Vehicle Registration Number (VRN). Tags connected only to chassis numbers or temporary vehicle IDs will not be accepted. Additionally, the FASTag should not be blacklisted or involved in any disputes. Users with temporary registration numbers are advised to update their details before proceeding with the application.

It is important to note that this pass will be valid only at toll plazas directly operated by NHAI. It will not be applicable on state highways, privately managed toll roads, or expressways operated by state authorities. As such, users are encouraged to confirm whether their regular routes fall under NHAI jurisdiction before making a purchase.

Applications for the FASTag Annual Pass can be submitted beginning August 15 through official government platforms such as the NHAI website, the Rajmarg Yatra mobile application, and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) website. To avoid fraudulent platforms, applicants are advised to use only these verified sources.

After completing the digital payment process, users will receive a confirmation message, and their FASTag pass will be activated. With a growing number of individuals commuting via national highways, this prepaid pass offers a practical and cost-effective solution for frequent travelers.

The FASTag Annual Pass aims to simplify toll payments while reducing delays at toll plazas, making it a suitable choice for regular highway users seeking ease and efficiency in their journeys.
