The Chase: Thala Dhoni Tricks Again?

Director Vasan Bala, who is known for some crazy films in Bollywood, has recently come up with an interesting movie titled The Chase. What caught everyone’s attention is the presence of MS Dhoni in the teaser, performing action sequences. Co-starring Madhavan, the film leaves Dhoni’s fans in a state of surprise, whether it is his debut on the silver screen or if he is appearing in an ad commercial.

The teaser for The Chase, released yesterday, features both MS Dhoni and Madhavan dressed in black gear as military officers. They stepped into the battle arena, wielding guns and eliminating the enemies.

The setup and reveal look quirky; the entire project is also expected to be on the same lines. “One mission. Two fighters. Buckle up – a wild, explosive chase begins. The Chase – teaser out now. Directed by Vasan Bala. Coming soon,” wrote Madhavan on social media.

However, it is still a surprise if this is a full-length feature film, a series, or any other project. If it is definitely a feature film, then it is the first time that Dhoni is stepping into the acting shoe for a full length role, apart from doing ad commercials.

Earlier, Dhoni did some of advertisements in this manner to gain more attraction instead of routine commericals format. The Chase could also be the same but then director Vasan Bala has never done something like this. But this time, it’s looking more than an ad as it features Maddy too.

We should wait some more time instead of considering this as Dhoni’s silver screen debut. The official confirmation of the same is expected to be out soon.
