Meet The New Jersey Sponsor Of India Team!

It is already known that the BCCI recently parted ways with Dream11, which was a previously operating as the jersey sponsor for the Indian cricket team. This was due to the central cabinet’s decision to ban money oriented gaming platforms in the country.

Subsequently, there was the need for the BCCI to find a new jersey sponsor for India and here we have an interesting new update in this regard.

The latest developments are suggesting that Apollo Tyres has been finalised as the New Jersey sponsor for the Indian national cricket team.

According to national media reports, Apollo tyres will be paying ₹4.5 crore per game to sponsor Indian jersey. This is marginally higher than the earlier ₹4 crore deal with Dream11.

This sponsorship will be running till 2027 and Apollo tyres will be covering the jersey sponsorship of India for as many as 142 games in this period.

In total, Apollo tyres will be investing as much as ₹579 crore as the jersey sponsor agreement. The other two principal investors who showed interest in this bidding are Canva and JK Cement.
