The most auspicious Ganesh Chaturthi season is nearly done as the entire Hindu community across the globe celebrated the festival to the fullest capacity. The major majority of the Nimarjan activities have been completed already as the season draws to a close.

Coming to the topic now, there is a big discussion that is happening about the Ganesh Chaturthi procession in the United States.

There are these bunch of videos that are going viral where people are pointing out that certain Indian community people have been dropping Ganesh idols in water bodies.

In particular, there is this narrative setting video that is trending on Twitter, where Telugu lady is seen immersing the Ganesh idol in a water body in Missouri. It has been pointed out that these idols might contain harmful toxins that could damage the water life and Americans are against the same.

It is well within the right of the community to celebrate the spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi. But when it comes to environmental factors, certain caution must be exercised at all times as this could not just frustrate Americans, but also invite environmental concerns.

Experts are pointing out that immersing the Ganesh idol inside own homes in contained water pools is a better option than going outdoors where anything could go wrong.
