Telugu Cricketer Tilak Varma Wins Asia Cup For India

India is the only team in the ongoing Asia Cup tournament to not have lost a single game till now. However, they were challenged pretty intensely by arch rival Pakistan in the finale that happened in Dubai international Stadium last night.

While chasing a modest target of just 147 runs India was rather in a tough spot at one point in time where the scorecard read 20 runs for three wickets.

But this was when a talented youngster, Tilak Varma came into the scene, and he was absolutely brilliant with the bat right from the opening delivery. He showed great composure in short selection and carefully lead India to a famous victory against Pakistan.

Tilak Verma was very brilliant when it came to strike rotation in the middle, and the most important thing is that he could find the boundaries when it mattered the most.

Tilak scored 69 runs in a chase of 146, and this essentially meant that he scored nearly half of India’s runs in the crucial finale game.

The most decisive knock from Tilak came in the final over when India needed 10 runs from six balls as he struck Haris Rauf for a six off the second delivery.

This talented batsmen comes from Guntur of Andhra Pradesh and he was very decisive with the bat for India in what could be considered the most crucial game of the tournament. This will cement his place in the Indian T20 side and also enhance his reputation as a finisher.

Tilak was always one of the most talented youngsters in the Indian team, and this was on full display as he came good against a spirited Pakistani team that posed a strong challenge to India.

It is a proud moment for the Telugu community as they have produced a hero for the Indian national cricket team when it matters the most.
