Dasara is one of the major festivals in the Hindu community, and this naturally mandates a customer visit to hometown to several sellers in Hyderabad. With a long weekend on the horizon, several people left to their hometown from Hyderabad last week.
And now the return traffic is reportedly flooding the highways that are leading into Hyderabad as massive queues are being observed at the inward entry points towards the city.
Particularly the Hyderabad and Vijayawada Highway is reportedly witnessing peak traffic and vehicle queues are lining up several kilometres as they await entry into the city premises.
Hyderabad bound commuters are facing a severe traffic congestion on the highways as it is taking several hours to clear the way and enter the city. A similar scenario was observed at the LB Nagar Metro Station today as the queue outside the station lasted several hundreds of meters.
