After Microsoft, Amazon Announces Big Investment In India!

Just yesterday, Microsoft chief Sathya Nadella announced a massive investment proposal in India as he revealed the plan to invest as much as $17.5 billion in India in the next few years. 

Coming to the topic now, we have another great news coming up from the Indian Tech corridor as it is being established that Amazon has also announced a massive investment plan that is double the size of Microsoft.

Amazon has reportedly committed to invest an additional $20 billion in India over the course of next five years. Earlier it had pledged a total of $15 billion by 2030, of which majority was earmarked for AWS. The total volume of the investment now gross to $35 billion, which is twice the volume of Microsoft investment that was proposed yesterday.

We anticipate that by 2030, we will be supporting 3.8 million new jobs, both direct, indirect and seasonal jobs, Amit Agarwal, a senior VP at Amazon stated today. 

This investment drive in India is likely to accumulate huge financial resources to the country and generate a great volume of jobs to the students and budding workers.
