The trademark Hyderabad winter is finally upon us as the temperature is dropped pretty significantly across the city earlier this morning. In fact, the city recorded its coldest morning in the last 7 years as the mercury dropped below single digits.
Several parts of Hyderabad witnessed the coldest morning as the temperature firmly below the 10° mark, which indicates a strong cold wave that has gripped the city.
HCU Serilingampally, which is known to have a lot of green cover and also the famous Hyderabad Central University witnessed 6.3° temperature this morning. This is close to a Hill Station temperatures
The urban pocket of Gachibowli was not biking out either as it recorded 9.1°C, which is particularly cold for such an urban development at the heart of the city.
Other areas like Mehdipatnam recorded 11.5°C, and this was the trend with several pockets across the city as well. This essentially means that Hyderabad recorded a pretty chilly morning today as the city recorded its coldest morning in the last seven years.
