Messi in India: Kolkata Mess, Hyderabad Officials on Alert

The anticipated arrival of Global football icon, Lionel Messi finally happened earlier in the morning as he arrived in Kolkata. Incidentally, he took part in an exhibition game at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata earlier today and this didn’t end well. 

According to Media reports, Messi was at the stadium for just ten minutes before heading back to the hotel room and the severely anguished the crowds there.

Messi made a very brief appearance at the stadium, and fans simply could not take it as they paid thousands of rupees and couldn’t even get to witness him for 10 minutes. Anguished by this, fans started throwing towels and bottles at the stadium.

Now the expectation is completely different on Hyderabad as the ticket prices costed in thousands here as well. If Messi makes another five minute appearance, then things go horrifyingly wrong. 

More importantly, an exhibition game is expected between CM Revanth and Messi, which is the main attraction of this event, and this needs to go well at any cost. 

What is for certain here is that the arrival of Messi in Kolkata did not end well, as fan started throwing stuff at the stadium out of anger. The responsibility is on the global superstar to make good in the Hyderabad game as an elongated appearance is expected.
