It is becoming increasingly evident that several leading tech companies globally have been almost entirely shifting their operations in tune with the artificial intelligence advancements. Now it is Google’s turn to do something similar as the company has intimated its employees to brace for AI impact or prepared to leave the company
Reportedly the top leadership at Google has started to notify the employees internally that the company is preparing for AI alignment in the near future and asked them to be fully prepared to impress the same.
Google has reportedly made it clear that the employees who are not ready to shift with the AI alignment policy of the company can opt to leave and choose the severance package accordingly.
This is a very strong signal that Google is going to operate, mostly on AI systems in the future and human workforce is largely under question henceforth.
This comes just a few days after Google’s parent company Alphabet recorded its highest ever revenue in the year 2025, as they could gross $400 billion.
Now, according to social media reports, Google’s memo highlights AI’s transformative effects on business operations, urging employees to fully embrace it for greater efficiency and innovation.
The company warns its workers of a dynamic, high-stakes environment where adaptation is key, and is said to be offering voluntary exits with severance to those not aligned. This is an additional measure to avoid forced layoffs by giving the employees time to think for themselves.
