Another Shocker, Big Company Firing 30,000 Employees?

Several global companies across the world, including some of the biggest players in the industry have been firing employees at an aggravated pace in the last few months. The latest addition to the list could be Oracle as the United States Company is reportedly planning a large scale sizing down operation.

Reportedly, Oracle is planning to cut down on several thousands of jobs across various sectors. This layoff operation could start as soon as this month, and the company is reportedly firing several thousand workers.

According to the latest reports published by Bloomberg, Oracle is cutting down several thousands of jobs in the next few weeks. While certain sizing down operations might be regarding the rising operational cost of data centres, others will be due to AI revolution. 

There are estimates that Oracle could be firing as many as 30,000 employees in the next few months and we are awaiting an official update on this actual number. 

Barely, it must be noted that even mega companies like Amazon and UPS had fired 30,000 employees each in the last few months. It appears that Oracle is also taking a similar path now.
