A shocking incident came to light in Kamareddy, Telangana. A man allegedly killed his three young daughters by throwing them into a pond. The accused, Ismail, works as an auto driver. His wife Shabina is a daily wage worker.
The couple had three daughters named Shifath, Ayaat and Mariyam. When Shabina returned home from work, she noticed the children were missing. When she questioned Ismail, he first said he had taken them to a hotel.
Suspecting something was wrong, she approached the police and filed a complaint. During the investigation, police checked CCTV footage and found differences in Ismail’s statements.
After questioning, Ismail reportedly confessed that he took the three girls to a pond in Kamareddy and pushed them into the water. Police later recovered the bodies from the pond.
Shabina said there were no serious fights at home before the incident. She said they even spoke normally earlier about a phone and TV recharge for the Ramzan festival.
Police suspect financial problems may be one of the reasons behind the crime. Shabina also said Ismail used to drink alcohol regularly. The investigation is still going on.
