Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, two of the primary educational hubs in South India as the kind of educational culture that is observed here is extremely strict and result- oriented.
This is evidence if we look at the rankings accumulated by Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the newly released JEE Mains results.
The JEE mains session 2 toppers are categorised based on 100 percentile scoring in the exam and we have 5 candidates in this list from Andhra Pradesh and 5 from Telangana.
It turns out to be that Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have topped the list of the JEE toppers with 100 percentile scoring. This is the highest number accumulated by any state across the country.
The fact that Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have five toppers each in the JEE mains session, two exam reflects the educational culture in the Telugu states.
On the other hand, Kerala which is regarded as one of the most literacy oriented states in India does not have a single topper on the list. This is a bit of ironically strange development.
