Hyd NIT Student Goes Missing In Alakananda River

It is generally very sad when we see students who have a lot of future ahead of themselves meeting with fatal accidents. One such story is development now as an NIT student from Hyderabad is reportedly missing in the Alaknanda River.

Reportedly Hyderabad based student named Anand Mohan had been studying at the NIT Uttarakhand campus. He is a third year student who has been staying in the campus and pursuing his studies.

On Sunday evening, Anand Mohan, and two of his friends went to the Alaknanda river that is near the NIT campus. The three of them were enjoying a swim here, and this was tragedy struck.

Anand Mohan, who had from the top landed in the river and didn’t float up. His friends were panicked with his disappearance and immediately alerted the authorities about the same.

The authorities and the rescue operation teams had arrived on the spot, but they could not trace out Anand Mohan. Search operation is still underway and more clarity might emerge in the due course.

For now, the parents of Anand Mohan are intimated of this matter, and they are reportedly gutted by the same. They are praying for the well-being of their son.
