Earlier last month, the Indian ministry of petroleum issued a clear communication against these fake reports about hikes in petrol and diesel prices. It was affirmatively said by the Ministry of petroleum, that there is no proposal to hike the petrol and diesel prices.
And cut to this month, the latest official clarification is that the prices of petrol and diesel have been increased substantially.
The elevated prices came to affect from last night, and these new prices are going to paint a very bad picture for the Indian population and particularly the Telugu community
The observation here is that Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have the highest rates of petrol and diesel for any state in the country.
To put that into perspective:
State-wise Petrol price in India today.
Andhra Pradesh – ₹113.03
Telangana – ₹110.89
Kerala – ₹110.58
Madhya Pradesh – ₹109.71
West Bengal – ₹108.70
Bihar – ₹108.55
Rajasthan – ₹107.97
Telugu people will have to pay the highest price for petrol and diesel for any state in the country, and there is not going to be a positive reaction from the folk here.
Due to the increased volatility in the global markets, due to the ongoing conflict between Iran and the United States, the price fluctuation is going to be a constant practice. This is perhaps a reason why the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has advised the common folk to be redundant about petrol usage.
