As we had been extensively reporting for the last few weeks, several global companies have been resorting to layoff operations due to the falling job market. This has now resulted in an extremely problematic situation in India as well.
We have the case of an IT company based out of Pune, India, which has created an absolute panic situation to its employees.
This company that is based out of Pune is registered after the name Thynk Tech India and mysteriously shut down operations in a single night while leaving its 700 employees clueless and more concerningly, jobless.
Now, Pune Police arrested Harshal Thakare, the CEO of Noida-based Thynk Tech India OPC Pvt Ltd, following the sudden shutdown of their Hinjawadi, Pune branch.
The company left over 700 freshers, interns, and employees jobless, unpaid, and financially exploited in a major IT job and salary fraud scam. The employees immediately approached the police department and adequate justice was delivered rather quickly.
But this isn’t an isolated incident either as we have been hearing many such cases involving software companies in the recent past. This is creating extremely problematic situation for the employees who are left in a state of shock when something like this happens.
