Bengali actress Arya Banerjee was found dead in her apartment in Kolkata on Friday. Arya Banerjee is popular for her roles in Vidya Balan’s Dirty Picture and LSD: Love Sex Aur Dhoka.
Arya Banerjee was 33 years old and is the daughter of late sitarist Nikhil Bandyopadhyay. Along with the films, Arya Banerjee also had done modeling assignments in Mumbai.
Police had to break the door open of her apartment after the domestic help got suspicious with the unanswered doorbells and phone calls. Neighbors called the police. Police opened the door and found the actress dead.
Arya Banerjee lived alone. The body was sent for forensic examination.
