Why Musk Lost Trillionaire Status So Quickly?

Elon musk is already the richest man on the planet by a comfortable distance and on top of that he created sensation by becoming the first trillionaire in history.

This historic achievement was completed by Elon back in June when he briefly became the first trillionaire in the world as his money was valued at $1.4 trillion. This was largely due to the market evaluation that Trump had gained after the IPO of his SpaceX company, which became an absolute sensation back then.

However, this did not sustain longer as Elon rapidly lost his evaluation as the share prices of SpaceX started to dip after the initial IPO, and subsequently his wealth also went down.

From being valued at $1.4 trillion back in June 2 week is now currently trending at around $997 billion. He is still the richest man on the planet by a very strong margin, but he is no longer trillionaire that he used to be roughly at this time last month.

However, the evaluation of Elon is almost entirely based on his private companies, including Tesla and SpaceX. He does not hold much of this wealth in cash, our bank, but almost all of this is based on the market evaluation of his company, which can fluctuate practically every few days.
