As we had reported earlier in the day today, cyclone Arnab is making landfall in the coastal region of Andhra Pradesh early tomorrow. This happens to be one of the most intense cyclones to have hit the eastern part of India in recent years.
Shortly after this cyclone is approaching landfall, parts of Tamil Nadu also observed intense storms as the Ocean took violent turns.
On that note, we have a series of videos that are going viral on social media, where we see the beach turning extremely violent in Chennai. In fact, the beach water has come so far ahead that it is falling on the commuters who are traveling on vehicles.
This is one of the most aggressive display of natural power as the cyclone has created extremely volatile conditions in the Bay of Bengal.
IMD forecasts landfall between Bapatla and Visakhapatnam, near Yanam, tomorrow morning, with winds of 115–125 kmph, gusting to 140 kmph.
