The woman who was shot inside the US Capitol in the riots by the pro-Trump mob is dead at an area hospital.
Earlier afternoon, the rioters breached the US Capitol building to protest the Congress’ certification of President-elect Joe Biden’s win. The curfew has been enacted in Washington DC at 6 pm ET and the crowds slowly started dispersing.
A large number of protestors seized the building, House and vandalized many senior official rooms. There were many pictures of the reckless mob members that highly disrespect the institution and officials.
Former President George W. Bush’s official statement condemned the mob attack by Trump supporters on the US Capitol building. He called those riots ‘sickening’ and ‘heartbreaking.’
House speaker Nanci Pelosi said the joint session will continue tonight after hours of riots.
Meanwhile, Twitter deleted Trump’s tweets when he reacted to the riots and chaos at the US Capitol. Before Twitter, Facebook and YouTube removed Trump’s video to supporters. Twitter locked Trump’s Twitter account for 12 hours.
