Harbhajan Singh Bids Farewell To CSK

Former Indian Cricketer Harbhajan Singh has been released by his IPL team Chennai Super Kings the other day. The franchisee took this decision last evening while submitting its list of retained and released players. Bhajji played for CSK in 2018 and 2019. He opted out of last season due to personal issue.

Confirming his exit from CSK, Bhajji tweeted, “As my contract comes to an end with @ChennaiIPL, playing for this team was a great experience. Beautiful memories made &some great friends which I will remember fondly for years to come. Thank you @ChennaiIPL, management, staff and fans for a wonderful 2years. All the best.”

The off-spinner will be now available at the auction for IPL 2021, which will be held in the second week of February. CSK has also let go of its other players like Kedhar Jadhav, Shane Watson, Piyush Chawla, Murali Vijay and Monu Singh. It has retained its core team which includes MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran.
