YouTube Alekhya Harika who shot to fame with the reality show Bigg Boss, has been appointed as the new brand ambassador for Telangana Tourism. On the eve of Women’s Day, the tourism department has hosted an event and then announced their new ambassador.
Harika made it to the event in Handloom saree and chairman of Telangana Tourism Uppala Srinivas Gupta handed over the letter of ambassador appointment to Harika. “Sri Uppala Srinivas Gupta Garu, Chairman of Telangana state tourism Development corporation, appointed Miss Alekhya Harika as the new brand ambassador for TSTDC,” wrote the tourism department’s Instagram handle.
Overjoyed by this new role, Harika said it is a huge honour. “HONOUR. Telangana State Tourism Brand Ambassador Will give my best to promote Telangana tourism from my End to all the people out there ,spreading more knowledge about our tourism,” added Harika.
This is a great opportunity for Harika and she can promote through her YouTube channel as well which has 1.67 million subscribers.
