The sensational interview of Harry and Meghan Markle with Oprah Winfrey sent tremors across the UK. The shocking allegations, revelations from the couple appear to have disturbed the Royal Family.
Buckingham Palace issued a statement regarding the interview. The statement read, ‘”The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan,” said a statement from the Palace provided to Fox News on Tuesday. “The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.”
Earlier, in the interview, Meghan Marcke described feeling isolated and miserable inside the palace and she even had suicidal thoughts. Meghan also said the Royal family members expressed concern and had conversations on Archie’s skin color.
The statement made on behalf of the Queen, also mentioned about the allegations of racism made by the Sussexes were concerning and being ‘taken very seriously.’
“Harry, Meghan, and Archie will always be much-loved family members,” the statement concluded. The representatives for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not made any comment yet on Buckingham palace’s statement.
